Chemistry
Thanks to Alex, also known as the jerk, for setting us knuckledraggers up with a forum to wax poetic. I have been doing a lot of reading lately. I would say to anyone wanting to become a quote/unquote rock star that before you pick up an instrument to play you read a book, otherwise it's just sounds with no fury. Most of what I have been reading has been about the sky we live under. Stuff about weather, the climate etc as I am currently starting the long road to getting my pilots license (TFP is being proactive about dealing with the mythology of rock stars and planes not getting along-screw that, they'll be no Labamba crap with two frickin' pilots in the band). Anyway, much of what we look at in the morning as we trudge to work has to do with chemicals, and there reactions with physical elements and other chemicals in the air. As I listen more and more to Storms I understand its purpose. Weather is the great metaphor. It helps us understand a lot of our own chemical and physical reactions-hatred, unexplained violence, pain, and soothing love. Hold onto that for a bit, I may come back to it. Take care y'all, as Jimi said..."and the wind cried Mary".
